A four day trip to KERALA with me

KERALA


Kerala is one of the best tourist destinations of India. It is a major attraction for the travelers. Its speciality is hill stations, beaches, backwaters and greenery. So take your seat and get ready for a trip to KERALA.


1st DAY




  
So now we are arriving at one of the most elegant airports in India. And it is, 'COCHIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT'. Now taking the rest in Hotel and then get ready to witness the beautiful scenario of hill stations and greenery. 



Folklore Museum

The best example of heritage in Kerala can be described by this museum. The entire structure of the museum is made of wood and clay. The collection of more than 6000 art works is worth-seeing feature of museum. This museum is 1000 years old.


This museum focuses on historical objects on each of the three floors : Malabar on ground floor, Kochi on first floor and Travancore on second floor. You can see there Kerala's folk and classical performance arts which are specially hosted for visitors. In the evenings you can explore 253 mural paintings. It shows the overview of Ramayana and Mahabharata

Andhakaranazhi Beach

A place where you can found you stress-free. At beach your life is fully different. If you want to have something different experience then you can come here as the waves are shallow and the beach is clean. This is the best place for the family man. 




Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary

Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary is a place where you can explore the beauty of the creatures of God as there is a great variety of migratory birds and mangrove trees. The Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary is also called the ' GREEN LUNG OF KOCHI '. 

Mangalavanam is considered as a bird refuge as you can witness approxiamately 200 birds and around 40 species. Some of the birds are marsh sandpiper, common greenshank, brahminy kite etc. It contains two species of amphibians, six of mammals, seventeen of butterflies etc.


Athirapally Falls

The place where you can feel peace and forget all your stress is Athirapally Falls. Athirapally is the largest waterfall of Kerala. It is also known of ' NIGERIA OF INDIA'. This is the best picnic place in Kerala. The falls are very high and can really witness a great natural scenery.




Now the day has completed and lets get back to Hotel after visiting the Kochi and witnessing its ethnic beauty. The Flora and Fauna is beautiful all over India.

2nd DAY

Now we are going to discover another sightseeing place of Kerala : KASHMIR OF KERALA - MUNNAR.

TATA Tea Museum


The museum depicts the history of tea plantations, so it is considered one of the best major tourist attractions of Kerala. The different shows are held to give a detailed history of tea plantations. 
They will also serve you a different kinds of tea which is a great treat to watch. One cannot miss this chance of treat. There is also a stall to get herbal tea and also varieties of tea.





Evarikulam National Sanctuary


A national park is a place where you can get knowledge about the habitat of the different species in the world. There are in all 26 species of mammals including jungle cat, wild dog, leopard, tiger etc. There are grasslands, forests and shrublands. Mosses and Lichens are also found there in this National Park.

Wonder Valley Adventure and Amusement Park

If you will ask a child, his favourite place ? He will obviously answer Amusement Park. Amusement park is a place full of joy and rides. This park has some unimaginable views to discover that anyone cannot expect. 
The only amusement park in Munnar contains activities such as dashing cars, Charlie Chaplin Walk, 12D Rider etc. It also contains rain dancing, Lazy river and Wave pool, bungee jump, play port etc. The place is as thriller as a camp in forest. 

Tree House

A sight which you have never experienced will be experienced in this tree house of Munnar. This is a fully different place from the others. The tree house is far away from the buildings and there is neither pollution nor the noise of vehicles. It has all facilities including food, light, water etc.  

Now we will get back to the Hotel and take some rest. Get ready to travel at different place on DAY 3.

3rd DAY

Now once again a new place, a new experience. We are moving to Thekkady on Day 3 and I will give you a little tour of Thekkady in one day.

Abraham's Spice Garden

A garden which contains different types of spices and you can get enjoyment with knowledge. In this place you can taste and smell the real organic spices. You will see the lot of fruit trees, spice plants and flowering plants. It is one of the 80 gardens chosed by BBC, so this must be your first choice place to visit in Thekkady.


Periyar Lake

The water and peace of the lake is enough to be stress-free and calm your mind. You can also take a jungle experience by having a boat ride in the lake. You can also witness a variety of birds and natural scenario of tall trees by having this boat ride.




Kadathanadan Kalari Center


 If you are a lover of martial arts and judo lover, then you have to must visit this place. It describes the culture and heritage of Kerala. The visitors can enjoy the martial arts as well as they can learn it at different levels.






Now we are to the end of the day after the beautiful visit of Thekkady. We will make a tour of Alleppey on final day.

4th DAY

Alleppey is famous for its beaches, boat houses, canals etc. Alleppey is also known as ' Venetian Capital of Kerala'. Now lets go to explore the beauty of Alleppey.

Alleppey Boat House

A experience in boat house is great you can feel that the waves are moving with you or you are moving with the waves. This is the place surrounded by lakes, rivers and mountains.
 




One can also see rice plantations around and so it is also called ' RICE BOWL OF INDIA '. There is a great variety of delicious food and luxurious rooms to stay.





St. Mary's Forane Church



The best place to visit in Kerala for Christians as well as for all the travelers. By this church one can know the culture of Christians. Festivals are also celebrated in this Church. Fireworks and display of colors are also expressed in this church.








Alleppey Lighthouse



The Alleppey Lighthouse is also called Alappuzha Lighthouse. It looks too beautiful in its red and white strips design and also can be spotted from miles away. The lighthouse is almost 148 years old. It gives a panaromic view of 360 degree.








Now we are at the end of a four day trip to Kerala. From this you can easily know that how much is Kerala beautiful .
